We feel that it is very important for you to clearly understand why you have been referred for treatment. With that thought in mind, this website seeks to offer you detailed information on the procedures you are about to undertake. Many of you have been referred for one of the following:

Gum Disease: Gum diseases are the major cause of tooth loss in adults. The two main diseases affecting periodontal health are gingivitis, in which the gums tend to bleed easily with brushing, and periodontitis which results in boneloss around the teeth.

Dental Implants: Dental Implants involve the insertion of permanent tooth replacements in the upper and lower jaws to be used to support either fixed (permanent) bridgework or to help stabilize detachable (removeable) partial or full dentures.

TMJ Disorders: Orofacial Pain & Dysfuntion deals with a family of disorders involving jaws and jaw muscles (so called TMJ Disorders), tooth pains of non dental origin, headache and a host of other head, neck and jaw pains complaints.

Following the initial examination and consultation, a detailed treatment plan will be presented. The rational for treatment will be explained as well as any alternatives that may be available.
